  • Rent reviews and rent increases are set to become harder to implement.

  • Landlord’s will be liable if a rented home does not have a carbon monoxide detector.
  • Energy efficiency requirements will be raised from E to C by 2025.
  • You will need to adhere to GDPR and register with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
  • Landlords will be subject to Ofsted-style inspections.
  • Tenants will now be able to rate their landlord.
